Man who tried running from police after stealing a car speaks out after filing a $100,000,000 lawsuit after he was left paralyzed from being tased
27-year-old Jacob Root is now a quadriplegic after getting tased by Colorado Springs police officer Robert Comstock. Root's lawyers say that he broke his neck from the fall when being tased. Colorado Springs police have exonerated Officer Comstock of any wrongdoing and are standing by him: "Officer Comstock is a valued employee and is in good standing with the department." Root says he has no independence and relies on others to feed him. "That officer pretty much made a choice for me to be a prisoner in my body," Root said.
